Ho ho ho-w’s it going with all of your Holiday prep? To be honest, I can’t believe I only have a week left to prepare! This year I was wanting to give out something a little more thoughtful than usual so the first thing that came to mind were Christmas cards.
I love using my Cricut Maker to create cards because not only is it quick and easy, but there’s so many designs laid out to choose from already. If you want your card to be a little more unique you can also customize it on the app or simply use different cardstock colours or materials.
For this card I used
- Cricut Maker
- Scoring Wheel Tip
- Cardstock Sampler – Holiday
- Glitter Cardstock Sampler – Brights
- Cardstock Sampler – Basics
- Fine Point Pen
- Glue
After browsing Design Space I chose this cute design of the classic car bringing home a Christmas tree.
I followed the simple instructions of loading each colour cardstock into the machine.
I love how it can even cut through glitter cardstock. Also the glitter does not come off like most products!
To create the creases on the card I simply swapped to my scoring wheel tip and it created them for me!
Afterwards I assembled the card using a clear glue stick, and just like that it was all done in less than 30 minutes!
For a special touch we used our Fine Point Pens for a Christmas message inside.
Choosing projects and completing them together is something Ellie and I love to do! The Cricut Maker has the ability to create almost anything we put our imaginations too and I’m so thankful for it this holiday season! Happy Holidays!
