This Father’s Day is extra special for our family seeing it’s my husbands first one! It’s been such an amazing journey witnessing the metamorphosis he has made into not just a father but a great one at that. Our daughter loves her daddy so much and I am so grateful she has such a kind, caring man in her life.
Since this my hubby’s first Father’s Day I have been searching for something he would love that’s unique and special.
My husband is a tricky man to shop for, the kind of man who already has everything he needs and generally doesn’t ask for anything extra. But he deserves to be spoiled every now and again whether he likes it or not (I know he secretly likes it :)).
I came across JORD Watches (pronounced YODE) a while ago and it was like a sigh of relief came over me. Finally, something I know I can surprise my husband with that I know he will like. I will give you guys a little more insider info on this elusive husband of mine. He’s originally from South Africa and is a carpenter in his profession so he is o b s s e s e d with different woods from all over the world. So when I saw these wood watches, which to be quite honest I didn’t know even existed I thought perfect! And I mean…zebrawood. That just has Africa and carpenter written all over it!
When JORD approached me to partner with them to showcase their hand crafted watches of course I was thrilled! These watches are classy enough to be dressed up yet the wood gives it a rustic enough vibe to go with anything. Because they’re so versatile he will be able wear this watch with anything from his carpentry overalls to his suits which I love. And ladies……..d e t a i l s. Ours comes with these unique blue details which really add another level of elegance. We were also able to add custom engraving on ours so I added “I love you more”. I know, I know, we are totally one of those lame cliches that say “I love you more” back and fourth but I really do love him more and now I will always have the last word haha. But in all seriousness, it’s just such a sweet detail.
In addition to JORD selling men’s watches, they also have a vast selection of women’s watches to choose from. I’m thinking I might have to snag one for myself (perhaps one with a blush face…swoon). I know Mother’s Day just ended but they’re also a great birthday, anniversary or hey even a just cause gift for the ladies in your life too.
